It's not a joke.
If you are looking for internet service provider get yourself something else.
Worst service.
Every time you lose signal ( happens quite often) you need to reboot the device or switch off/on SIM card in settings.
Sometimes, like today, you have to wait hours before rain network picks up your SIM card again. Or some other reason - you just are not connected.
I f you are driving and you have to reboot your device I feel sorry for you.
Ask yourself, do you really need all that troubles with Rain?

Hi @DS_

Please provide me with your email via PM.

I'm not happy with RAIN either, and I've been with them for a couple of years, they are my 2nd data sim in my phone.
I have to restart my phone EVERY SINGLE DAY when I'm at home because according to their coverage map, I have coverage, but once I'm physically in my house, my data/signal/reception dies in the Vredehoek area.
Thankfully, I use RSAWEB as my backup (MTN sim in a MIFI device)

Once you in CBD central, no RAIN reception, 0 bars - MIDDLE OF THE CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And once you leave Cape Town, head out towards Worcester etc - NO RAIN

Been like this for years, moaned about it, RAIN don't care.

Do me a favour, take the total amount of data per month and divide it by the amount of money it costs you, i.e. 25GB / R250, you'll get your price per GB then factor in your frustration and inconvenience for using the service.

Take your sim card, set it alight and watch it burn, the only joy you'll get, rather buy a couple of sim cards buy some data and test who has the best signal, Telkom still has that 1tb of data per month deal, this will depend on your budget.

I was paying close to R1500 per month for a couple of rain sims, I quickly realised that the total amount of GB's we used was not worth paying that much per month.

Be wise with your money.

Appreciate your reply.
I have got a fibre at home.
Rain is a secondary ISP, which I use during the day. It would be just fine for me if they could provide proper service

Rain isn’t that bad guys come on there are days they good and there are those days it’s bad ...
