Steam and Rockstar Games

So, i have been reading a few forums on this subject and rockstar games are only available to some countries... why is it not available in South Africa? I want to buy Max Paybe and GTA(s), but i cant even open the Rockstar catalogue? Is there a way i can get around this and buy them on steam or what????

If you know someone in a region in which the games are available, they may be able to buy the games on your behalf and gift them to you. You'll just need to pay them back in someway.

thx for the reply, cant i make a fake account for steam under a region that have rockstar games and gift it to myself???... and if i can, then what region should i choose and how will i go by doing this?

I am sure Steam is geo-targeted and not based on what you set as a region. You could probably just get a proxy to bypass it.

what safe proxy can i use, also, i dont want any censored versions, so that will also depend on the region, right?

proxy aint gonna work... steam checks origin of credit card, so it will be declined...
