Steam games added

Hi all,

Has anyone noticed that occasionally - they'd get 'certain' games added to their list of games that they know (or at least, I knew FOR SURE) they didn't purchase.
I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering...

It's happened to me more than once, most recently, Doom 3 BFG edition has been added.
I think I'm dreaming, I wanted it for the longest time, and one day, it was there, on steam!
I installed it and bam it worked, full game, whole package... I'm obviously very happy.
 
Gdiza, are you sure the games are not part of a bundle? Some time back I'd purchased Myst and got a Cyan package which included Riven and some other games thrown in.

I can imagine your happiness though. :D

Yes, I did :D I added my retail copies of Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to my Steam library and it worked as if they were bought directly from Steam store :D Stuff like achievement lists for the games show up on my Steam app as well.
 
just noticed I got LOTR: War in the North which I also for sure didn't purchase and not a F2P game
