Steelseries issue

Hi there myBB people

I would like to know from someone what is my next step.

Ok first to my problem. I have this steelseries headset and mouse. I bought it at Pinnacle Africa about 1.5years ago. Products is still under warranty as steelseries supply 2 years warranty on all their products.

I can return it to Pinnacle Africa but the only problem is that pinnacle don't sell steelseries anymore and I'm used to their products and prefer steelseries now and will am scared to go for any other brand.

What should I do next.

thanks. I have just dropped a mail. I checked some reviews on other mouses and headset and it makes me scared to swap it out for something like the Logitech g9x doesn't look as comfortable as the ikari and the g35 is not compatible in any game and for music it's not as good.
 
ok I'm sort of sorted. Emailed steelseries and they told me I can ship it to them and they will replace. Talking about good customer support. One of the best I received yet

So you're covering one way, they're covering one way? Shipping that is.

Still not as good as Logitech, who would swap out with no questions asked. :D :love:
 
yes but I will see what Pinnacle Africa have to say today. Steelseries also swap out no questions asked
 
I'm losing my temper now cause of the crap service in South Africa. Pinnacle suppose to send us invoice and we are waiting since this morning. how come they take so long to get back to us and steelseries from overseas are replying to me in about 1min
 
sorry for posting again. Just came back from pinnacle and after 2 hours they told me have no warranty left. product is less that 2 years old and according to steelseries I get 2 years warranty with my product
 
my point is I want to return the product. it's under warranty. maybe I should save money for new ones. so if this ones die then i can get new ones right away

Surely there's a new Steelseries distributor in SA if Pinnacle aren't distributing them any more? Or are they?

If Steelseries confirms it's under warranty, then they should be able to contact the distributor to tell them so.

Or, the distributor should be able to verify with Steelseries that they're broken, and that there's no need for testing.

You usually have to kick up a bit of a stink with these guys, and you will usually get your way...
 
Ok latest response from steelseries. They told me that I can upgrade to siberia and get a ikari laser mouse for free. According to fedex the shipping cost will be R600. I also want to know which shipping company will be cheapest. Shipping to denmark
