Steers dbl or nothing burger

Steers has been siff for me lately, it's like they're forgetting to flame grill the burger patties and are now instead boiling them and adding flame grilled flavoring.

They changed to this method years ago already. Well, sort of this method at least...

Deets on the offer?

2 slices cheese, 2 burger patties in a bun with chips, no cooldrink.I asked the lady if the king steer is bigger and she said yes king steer is bigger so i just had my regular king steer...this seems like a promo to get rid of some old expiring patties.

Steers has been pretty disgusting of late, seems they precooking everything (even the chicken) then just sticking it over the flame, patties are rubbery.

The chips is still a redeeming factor though

Had this in the wee hours of Sunday morning as I went to the office.
Was ok, burgers seemed a bit dry.

Steers tastes fine for me. I find the burger in the OP quite nice.

Inb4 "you have no taste"

My local Steers Chips are just as bad as the patties. Always very oily and half cooked, even if you ask for the chips crispy.

It's the national promo and not an attempt to get rid of expiring patties.

The King Steer is better on account of the extra garnish and sauces.

Lettuce, onion, dills, tomato vs lettuce, tomato.
Mayo, mustard and BBQ sauce vs mayo and BBQ sauce.

R58-40 vs R47-90

If the oil isn't at the right temperature (160C), asking for crispy chips will exasperate the oily nature of the end product as for crispy they will leave the potato chips in for an extra minute which means it's absorbing more oil especially if the oil isn't at the right temperature!

Thanks, which francise do you own?

Pls elaborate, they cant advertise flamed grilled burgers then.

The volcanic rock used in our grills was removed a number of years ago. The product is still flame grilled but that without the smoking element the volcanic rock added to the cooking process the net result is a synthetic tasting product lacking in character and flavour.
