Steers Introduces The Mega Ribster

And now who is hyping..? ;) You make it sound like it's something other than a bog standard junk food outlet.

Not hyping.

1) Their burgers really are great. Very filling as well.
2) Their Chips are perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.... may even be the best chips i've ever had. seriously.
3) Their drinks are unlimited.
4) They do have variety - beef burgers, chicken burgers, vegetarian burgers, fish burgers, some are buns, some are long rolls. I mean, they have 5 different chicken burgers! (breaded/tendercrisp, long, crispy, nugget and grilled) and then they have cheese nuggets, chicken nuggets, hell, even chicken wings - and onion rings. Drinks: Cold drinks, hot drinks, smoothies, frozen frappes and milkshakes. Don't tell me they don't have a lot to choose from.
5) They do have great prices. A whopper is R23. that's not bad imo.
6) Staff is definitely friendly.

If you disagree with any of my points please point out where i'm wrong, but I think BK has all their bases pretty much covered.

As long as they don't get expensive like steers or something I will have no problems eating there. BK is much better than the other burger joints IMO, and Steers should look out because BK is gonna take over.

Perhaps one day once BK expands substantially, then the other fast food joints will have something to worry about. Until that day, there is no threat and if anything else they will just boost business for their competitors. I have eaten more Steers this year since BK launched in probably the last several years combined. All because BK got me thinking about burgers but there is no way in hell I am going to queue more than 5 minutes for a burger!

Bottomless soda, doesn't appeal to me. I don't drink soda. Do they offer water btw?

As a rule of thumb, I never order that which I can make at home, but more specifically, food which has much hand handling in the process. First time I saw de-boned ribs at Ranch I thought not a chance.

For all the money that fast food costs, I rather buy good meat and put it on the braai (or in the pan).

It's gotta really be pissing down to stop me lighting up a fire (no indoor facility).

To tell you the truth I would not, I'd rather go to burger king and get a double whopper for R33.
If it still had the chips, or if it was actual pork ribs - sure

Burger King must just spread all over now!

Screw Burger King and their fake bacon, I will never support Burger King SA out of principle, they allow a minority to dictate to the majority what's what.

They won't even consider having halaal and non-halaal branches like Steers does.

Burger King SA is like a cheap knock off to what Burger King really is.
