Steers vs Burger King

Why are South Africans Queuing for Burger King?

What a douchebag..

"How can people stand in line for a fscking burger?"
...proceeds to stand in line for a burger.

"in the cold that Cape Town's been experiencing..."
...goes on a misty, miserable cold morning.

"combined with your diet..."
...lives off KFC.

"and the people you are queuing with, in the off chance they stop taking pictures of the burger king sign...."
...films everything with a video camera and tries to get interviews from people trying to have lunch.

You are missing his point.

You are missing his point.

What am I missing?
That he stands in a queue for hours on a cold morning to get a burger and take pictures of burger king, telling us all that he doesn't understand how we can stand in a queue for hours on a cold morning to get a burger and take pictures of burger king?

Or am I missing the point that we should support local franchises like Nando's while he practically "lives off" American franchise KFC?

He has no point, he's just a douchbag

just had a disgusting steers burger. that special. nothing special about it. shouldnt be hard for burger king to kick steers butt if they serving such kark burgers now.

there was no opening date on the burger king opposite though. after that kark steers burger i cant wait for burger king. i contemplated a mcds cheese burger to get that disgusting taste out of my mouth. thats how bad that burger was.

it was a halaal steers but to be fair i will visit a normal one to check if both variants are kark.

I don't think Steers or McD's have anything to worry about with BK, not for a few years at least. Things sound pretty crappy at the moment judging by the BK review thread and Hello Peter complaints.

If anything I'm now more inclined to eat Steers and McD's as all this burger talk has me thinking about burgers once or twice week!

Yummy... not sure what these cost... no mention of pricing on their FB page and could not find it on their website.

I tend to agree with you.
Steers is kinda expensive but at least they fill you up. R39 for that beast of a rib + patty burger + chips is a good deal. Those BK burgers are kinda small

Plus Steers has Bacon! :p
