Steers vs Burger King

I normally eat quite healthy but after all this burger talk... i headed over to the nearest Steers (Orange Str. Cape Town CBD) before heading home :) I would have gone to try BK but a bit out of the way and I wasn't sure what the queue would be like.

Got the current running Steers promo for R29.95, I think it's a Steers Burger, medium chips and small milkshake. Boy am i stuffed and i haven't even had the milkshake yet. OK, admittedly I'm a small eater. I also ordered an extra Steers burger for tomorrow... oh I just realised that was dof... for R6 more I could have gotten an extra promo deal instead :o

Anyone know how the queues are at BK now? I must go there next to try a whopper or something :p
 
Rumour has it that Postman Pot is setting up a very basic wi-fi webcam from all the bits and pieces of computers he perpetually lugs aroung in the boot of his car. He's going to duct tape it to the head of a steet kid who will spend the entire days running up and down the queues so the rest of us can get an idea of waiting time. The street kid is currently being taught very intensively some basic sign language to convey the current conditions of the queues. So if you should see a 16 year old kid running up and down the queues with a long pole and a ball strapped to his head, gesticulating wildly, don't be alarmed.

It's a small chips ;) It's a good value meal anyway. After trying Burger King I'd choose the Steers special over the whopper meal. But I'd pick an extra long chilli cheese meal over the steers special.

just hope the taste is so good ..cause a king steer taste is damn good

Haha. Got any good coffee at the moment?
 
I just had my first Big King + Fries + Onion Rings. It was better than I thought it would be, very nice.
