They have different categories. The national franchisee of the year was actually Abdul from Springs CBD!!

Krugersdorp won drive thru of the year but didn't place in the nationals. In 2004 we won Nationals which is drive thru category as well as national category... Gets a bit complicated...

The drive thru's are generally quite high turnover stores but there doesn't seem to be much of an incentive to increase their numbers. Also the R3m price tag is a bit of a deterrent...

we used to enjoy they food in springs but bought more at the other steers in springs

whats the criteria for the awards ?

They look at mystery shopper reports, inspection results, state of accounts, profitability and gross profit, customer complaint ratios...

I'm not a business owner but this whole BK story just seems doff! The pricing is too low if you have people going bat $**** crazy queueing up still two weeks after opening. Staff are probably overworked and underpaid, quality of some meals taking a knock, and some of the public getting irate with the extremely long queues! It's a lose lose for everyone. If your first experience is a bad one how likely are u to return once the hype dies down. The brand is getting hurt in the long run...

Hell, they didn't need to do all their marketing hype that they did beforehand, and they for damn sure didn't need to hand out 1,000 free burgers on opening day :erm:
