Steve Hofmeyr robbed while on holiday

CAPE TOWN - Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr was robbed at his holiday home on Wednesday morning.

The singer tweeted: "We've just been robbed in our holiday home. The stench is still lingering in the house."

Hofmeyr tweeted that they (him and his wife Janine) were still in shock after the incident. They were alerted when their dogs started to bark.

He said his television, Xbox and the police were still missing from the scene, but that the security company had responded.

He then thanked his 130,000 followers for their concern, saying they were unharmed and would be back from holiday soon.

The charitable interpretation would be the stench of the robbery in general. That idea of your personal space being violated etc. that you feel after you've been robbed.

That's the norm. They call it natural redistribution. Just fill in a case form at the closest police station to get a case number for the insurance.
