i'm very disappointed in myadsl.co.za i would've expected by now some announcement from telkom. this is totally unacceptable.

(perfect example of passing the buck) :D

Telkom will announce the usual "give a bit with one hand, shove the other hand's fist up your rectum" price reduction at 4:59pm.

i doubt they will announce anything today

Maybe they will introduce per byte billing fo users only using 1 byte a month the basket of services will be secreased my an astonishing 999%!

Hi Albert123

Telkom has given some feedback (published in the news forum a few days back) and said that prices will drop, but that they can not commit to a time frame or price reduction percentage. I am not certain if Telkom made any commitment when speaking to Duncan, but with us they did not commit to any date, en hence no feedback...

RPM

listen, with all due respect, "prices will drop but that they can not commit to a time frame or %" means absolutely nothing.

Hi Albert123

I agree fully with you, just saying why we did not report on it. We contacted them in the last week regarding this possible announcement, and this is the feedback we have received. Like all consumers I also hate the ‘ín future’ term…

Regards,

RPM

hi, not blaming you at all dont worry, just i dont get why people announce things of "in the future", wait for it to be in and working, then say "you can NOW get this at this price just call XXX-XXXX " anyway. so back to square one. hehe

i think thwy were going to be forced by DoC to drop their prices, so they though they might as well make as if it was their idea

LOL but telkom will lose some money if they reduce the price nevermind the simple economics that cheaper internet will generate more customers and income. Look at the 1 november 2005 thing it was rumoured for about 4 months in advance when the info was leaked and every1 believed its only a rumour now how the hell can they decide to reduce the price in about 1 week

I Will However Be Hoping That When I Get To My Pc On Monday Morning, The Main Story On This Site Will Be "telkom Announces New Prices"
