Stingy AT&T spoiled iPhone party

Correct me if I am wrong here but most people in the US are more likely to be in a WiFi zone than in a 3g zone.

If that is the case its hardly a problem is it?

True so it was designed for for the States? Ye then its ok.

With people reporting edge speeds of up to 270Kbps I wouldnt say to an unlimited data package for the price ATT (formerly known as Cingular) offers.

Ye probably like Icys said their data highways are probably dry and open!

What's also interesting is that a few months back, AT&T were bought out by SBC, who used to have a large stake in... Yup, you guessed it... Telkom :(

The iPhone mess sounds like business as usual for them.
 
it wont suprise me if the iPhones, when they eventually enter the SA market, come out with CDMA or WiMax. I gathet their data capabilities are better than 3G or HSDPA/HSUPA?
