Hey all,
A couple of questions..
1. I have seen numerous posts from people who suspect that their ADSL username and password have been compromised. Does this mean that one can use the same username and password to log in for two concurrent sessions?
I use 'Telkom Internet "powered" by ADSL' (Prolog Plus) - for which it is advertised: and I quote "One username and password per Telkom Internet powered by ADSL account to offer four concurrent sessions with bandwidth sharing".
In the good old days of 56k dial-up, some ISPs didn't seem to mind (or didn't seem to know) if you dialed up from two different locations, using the same uname and passwd - concurrently. Does the same still work for ADSL? - if it does, wouldn't a simple solution to this problem of theft be for Telkom to restrict each account to a single login session per account?
Thanks in advance for any input.
P.S. Question 2 is in the Technical Folder
