If you are sure it is your stolen car (and you did claim from insurance), give them a call with the vehicle's new registration number and time/location of sighting it. That car belongs to them now, so they would want to recoup some costs by finding it and selling it again

And doesn't this also help in pushing up rates? (insurance costs goes up) ?
I'm not 100% sure on how these things work, but logically, I would think this causes increases.

... but also if they do recover that vehicle, they are definitely not going to reduce the rates again!!DV!!

lol, everyone that says you should just forget about it and the likes are part of the problem 
Your claim will also be reduced by that amount which makes your history look better. People complain after they claim alot and there policy get cancelled and they can't get any cover elsewhere. By just doing simple things like this it could make a difference
