He telling us to solve our own crime problem, like in the squatter camps, but at the same time you are not allowed to take the law into your own hands. Does he even know what the law says? He's telling us do go back to the "wild west' type of law&order. Shocking, coming from a minister.

What do you expect, he is in the current ANC led GVT! He just justified crime with the same thought pattern and rhetoric that is evident on this forum by names that can easily be identified! Reverse racist Afrikaans surname haters!Typical same attitude and hatred! He just raised the bar for more violence hatred and brain-drains! It explains the GVT inability to do their job and justified the inaction of the SAP as he sates we have to fight our own crime. Typical intellect level of our current GVT at play!

And that would be? Making merry with public money? Going on jols out of the country? Guzzling donuts? Arranging jobs for pals? Certainly not doing much to bring crime levels down!

Why are residents being forced to fight crime? Is that what we pay our taxes for - to be vigilantes?

IT worker by day - crime fighter by night - its super geek . . .

It is the manner in which the DA and FF Plus which represents white interests does it that annoys so many people ... instead of whinging and pointing fingers and blaming the govt why not offer concrete suggestions to HELP the govt or police to combat crime ???.

I guess it is easier to pontificate when the problem is not yours.

Stop living and the past and lets move to the future, To base your live and make GVT decisions and justify incompetence for something that happened more than an decade ago is ridiculous.

Sure all countries in the world have enough police on duty for every street in every city.

There were plenty of SMS's from black township residents to 702 this morning slamming him for saying that...

He seems to be saying that the situation is OK because crime levels are rising to similar levels in all areas. He should resign.

I actually FULLY agree with him ... if you are not happy here like then pack your bags and leave this country as the world is a big place and the S.A passport is now acceptable again :)..

Frankly I had enough of all the moaning and complaining.

They do not want the advise as that will effect their profitability of the back pocket and power balance. Look at the DA in the Cape! He had no answer for the Questions and facts and grabbed his only defense like is also apparent on this forum which is an daily example of this exact style!

Wait till you are part of the statistic of crime and we speak again. As I said I recognized your tone, you might as well have said it as you just did! That is why so many are leaving, because they saw where this country with !assholes in positions they can intellectually not cope with! There fore the failure of all public systems in this country!
 
SA passport acceptable? not if you are white dude... people frown at you if you have an SA passport and label you as an ex-apartheid thug. ppffffttt...
