I agree, nearly every second day i read a story about babies being dumped. Stop the problem where it starts.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any children DreamKing? I assume you won't be having any, if not?
I disagree. There are millions of poor people who have made wonderful parents, struggled to bring up children, send them to school, etc, but succeeded against the odds.
There are also many rich people who make terrible parents, are abusive and uncaring, raising total burdens on society despite their wealth. Being wealthy has nothing to do with being a capable parent.
By your thinking only the wealthy have a right to breed but this just entrenches inequalities (not to mention inbreeding).
And tell me ponder, who is going to do all your manual labour, work the mines and clean up your rubbish if poor people aren't allowed to breed?
I'm sure your kids would love to clean the toilets at the mall for a living right?
Yes, i'm sure that there are millions of people who can drive well without a drivers license too...I disagree. There are millions of poor people who have made wonderful parents, struggled to bring up children, send them to school, etc, but succeeded against the odds.

We unfortunately don't, however as with the 'but millions of people without a license could drive well' paradox,it would be better to draw the line where people do have the necessary means to take care of the child(safety, the ability for the child to reach their full potential, and that the child could contribute back to society too). Be able to afford the child cash wise/history of parent (physical crimes agaist other children or drug abuse in the company of children and so forth). China is very successful on this oneDo we know where the problem starts?
if you do not have the ability to bring up your children, please, <snip> stop breeding!
Dead babies found at waste company premises
Jul 21, 2010 5:44 PM | By Sapa
The bodies of two babies, a boy and girl, were found dumped at a waste removal company in Airport Industria, Cape Town, paramedics said.
“When the paramedics arrived on the scene they were shown to the medical waste section of the company where the bodies were found wrapped in a medical waste packet and placed in a medical waste box,” ER24 spokesman Tristan Wadeley said.
It appeared the babies were already dead when they were dumped there.
“An employee at the waste removal company said this is the first time that babies have been found in medical waste there.”
Wasteman Healthcare, a waste transporting company, said in a statement that on Monday it had collected sealed medical containers from Retreat Maternity Hospital and other medical institutions for treatment by BCL, a waste treatment company.
On Tuesday, BCL found the babies in the waste, notified Wasteman Healthcare and returned the waste to the company later that day.
“Wasteman Healthcare immediately contacted the police who subsequently sent their forensic pathology unit to investigate.
“We turned over to the police all evidence related to this matter.”
The identity bracelets on the babies identified them as coming from the Retreat Maternity Hospital.
Children are toys to the majority, they are seen as assets, not responsibilities as they should be. It is for the government to ensure that people are capable of taking care of their children, provide for allow their rights and needs, before they are allowed to have any! Reiterate: It is a crim hae to drive without a licence, in such a case you would not be allowed to drive. Same with all other laws, and the same should certain be put at demand of the parent too, adequate conditions to raise a child or a forced abortion. A forced abortion policy is absolutely necessary to ensure the childs rights and that of the society that may also need to rear the child !
Well yes, black people are usually poor/ left in the dark, they don't really see hope in their lives, so thy get confused and revert to using children as insurance policies(let alone what it costs to have a child in iteself), all of the less educated seem to be doing this. Perhaps it's part because the apartheid system did not allow them to fulfill their dreams and treat them fairly so that they could study or work towards their dreams, so now the'v just given up hope and it some how led to a culture where thtey naturally underclass themselves and thus laugh upon dreams, basically they think that they 'should be' the miners, it's their 'purpose in life'. And yes to a certain degree too, blacks usually hav very closed and conservative cultures(probably also due to the fact that they were not allowed t enrich their knowleadge), so they usually see sex as something 'dirty' or 'perverted', and just as with sex ed classes which actually increase teenage pregnancy, when the time comes, they are not prepared as they should be (think), and thus the hormones take over. You mention the majority, and I assume black people, and rightfully as this is in most cases reported in townships.
Maybe soackmeone can educate me as to whether this is a cultural thing.
