Stop e-toll negativity: Sanral CEO

I'm super happy that you get to fsck over every South African in one fell swoop.

How's that for positivity, fsck-face?

Speaking on SABC News, Alli said: “Let’s talk about the kind of jobs we’ve created…these are first-time jobs, and if you come to the centre in Midrand you will see there is something like 1,300 people which have been employed directly on this particular project.”

Why is it that when SANRAL's resident evil Nazi Moaner opens its mouth to spit out very badly thought out propaganda, I get very angry and want to tell the Nazi Moaner to feck off?

Nazi Moaner wants literally millions of Gauteng residents to suffer with etrolling fees and rising food and fuel prices for the sake of "like 1,300 people"?

The needs of the millions of over-taxed Gauteng residents (not just motorists) outweigh the needs of like 1300 people.

And please could someone in the media squeeze the Nazi Moaner for details about the job perks that etrolling employees have been and will be enjoying, in particular will they be getting a better discount than the public or completely exempted from paying etrolling fees.

Please just explain the upside you brainless ANC puppet! All I can see are more corruption and higher prices for everything so less money in our pockets. It's not worth it for the roads you build, it could have been much better, much cheaper and all above board.

Nazir you blithering idiot.

South Africans have had enough of your government ripping us off. We will not focus on the positives of a project like eTolling because well as far as we're concerned, there aren't any. A project like the GFIP by itself possibly has benefits, if you weren't trying to financially ruin everyone who used the damn roads.

I am surprised Nazir Alli can still go out in public without being harassed.

Come on guys! Nazir might have a point and we should give him a chance.

Nazir, if you are reading this, please engage in a public televised debate with journalists and members of OUTA to discuss the benefits of e-Tolling. Only one rule - you are not allowed to answer with "no comment" or anything along the lines of "yet to be determined"

Lets see....

I read somewhere that they need 90% of the Jo'burgers to buy into their ponzy scheme. And those people need to drive the road daily to make the scheme heads some moola.

Assuming the above is correct....

Positively go fsck yourselves. I use those roads maybe twice a year. You can send me a photographic invoice, which I might consider paying, but I cannot promise.

I cannot afford to prepay a tag:
If it is cloned or my funds are falsely debited, it will take days, if not weeks to resolve, if I'm lucky.
Certainly not worth my effort.

the benefits which accrue, other than to the motorists in terms of time saving etc

There’s huge benefits as well to the motorists that will happen,” he said.

Rpm, can you get the fool on the line to list the "huge benefits" for us motorists?

All of the positives from e-toll would also have come from the fuel levy, but with none of the negatives.

^ this

Will they arrest people that are towing on the highways with tow ropes?

That's a benefit I might pay for. And ALL those driving with lights off at night or no functioning rear lights.

Alli, be nice and know that just like Telkom, Eskom and SAA my money is paying for you to live your lavished lifestyle and I will still most probably be having to pay more for a bail out payment when you realize the wonderful eToll is in financial k@k just like all your cadres's creations and institutions which are run so badly.

So f<k you I pay tax which is more than I can say for the masses you and your cadres abuse so terribly every day.

They tried the stick, it didn't work. Now they are trying sweet talk.

What's next? I think begging..

I've got a question - how long will these e-toll things be up?
Until the upgraded roads have been paid for, or will it collect money in perpetuity?

Does anyone know?
