Store owner kills robber

Yes everywhere. It's just not as ridiculously common in more civilised places. Humans are too unpredictable for society to be perfect.

Yeah, I tried to edit to say not perfect (the forum is ****ed though) - There are places though where the violent crime levels are relatively non-existent in comparison to SA.

Depends how you celebrate.... but yes I am glad when an unrepentant criminal bent on murder gets killed himself.

Wow. I didn't know there were people that could become joyful at the death of another human being. That is pretty sick.

I mean yes the dude was robbing the store and his death was probably necessary, but to actually express joy at his death. Why? Be happy that the store owner emerged unscathed but not happy that a human being had to die in the process.

If this is how you feel what are your reasons for it? Is the robber evil and deserved to die? Who decides that... you? If so why not just start patrolling the streets shooting anyone you consider to be "evil"? After all it is something to be joyful about isn't it? :wtf:

See the tongue sticking out? I was joking. Yes, it's sad that we have to kill these violent raping, murdering monsters with no consciences, whenever we are able to defend ourselves...It needs to be done however. Even the SAPF decided to make public their policy to now "shoot to kill".

Don't get me wrong though, if I was the shop owner and they shot at me, I would have happily shot back. Although being a pacifist without a shop or a gun, this is an unlikely scenario.

*facepalm*

Would you have shot at them if they had not shot at you first?

I'm sorry did I quote you? I don't remember quoting you... perhaps the mods deleted the part of my post that quoted you and thereby demonstrated that I was referring to you? Those sneaky mods! :p

Waffle, waffle, waffle... You were asking questions, whilst claiming the moral high ground in your opinion, concerning the joy expressed by posters, right after my post. Try not to troll.

While I don't begrudge you the sentiment, it's a sad state of affairs when we are able to find cause to celebrate the death of another human being.

They (the murderous criminals) made their choice to not be classified as "human" anymore the moment they went out with intention of killing innocent...
