Strand Exchange upgraded

This weekend was busy downloading and noticed that I was downloading at 600kb. Checked my router and am now synced at 6mb/640kb. Woot! Strand finally got upgraded even though it doesnt show this anywhere yet. Now to ask telkom to increment my speed to 8mb then 10mb to see where it starts to die.

Any others care to check?

Like i said in another thread, ask them on the phone to bump you up to 10MB and stay on the line while doing a few tests. If you don't like it then go back down.

I hope fully that you get the 10MB speed, it is worth it no matter what others say . I am not talking about 3.41GB per hr banwidth being pushed out or 80 odd GB per day . Just the freedom to see things open faster and more responsive (with near perfect network conditions) is a taste of high speed internet .
