Strange connection problems

Hi @Cell_C

My son's phone has been having strange connection problems for several days.
He is unable to make or receive phone calls and is unable to check his balance using *101# or *147#.
If I try to call him, I get straight through to voice mail.

He receives the new voicemail notification SMS (and other SMS), but is unable to call in to hear them.
He is still able to use mobile data.

Would you please assist?

PS: We've already tried turning it off and on again.

Kindly private us the number in question. Please also advise if he can use the app to check the balance, and which error does he get when checking the balance using the USSD .

I've sent the number via PM.

He registered for the Cell C App and received the SMS, and can see his balances.

The error message when checking the balance via USSD (*101#) is:

Carrier info

Connection problem or invalid MMI code.

Mind forcing it on 2G and checking again ? Just want to check something

I have the same problem that if I leave my phone on 4G and try to make a call it tries to switch to 3G but struggles, no one can reach me and my ussd does not work all the time but on 2G everything works 100%
