yeah, I have been out of the loop for quite a while now... I trusted that he knew what he was selling seeing as, ag you know, he does it 10 hours a day 5 days a week....

lol?
Yes. But should you need to, you can push the K chip further with a Z board. Your current setup won't allow you to do that. The Z board also has 20 PCIe lanes compared to the H's 8. The Z probably has better audio and networking chips (board model/brand dependant, of course), and usually definitely has XMP for memory. What I find very interesting is that the GPU scores are identical in the 3D Mark test, when compared to the online scores that use top end motherboards
Aside from extra slots, and ports and overclocking, it would appear that performance it not effected at all.

Hey, could have happened to anyone. No need to be rude.
He trusted the sales guy which was his only fault. If you really want to OC, get the Z board, if not just get the standard non K CPU. I specifically went for the H board when I built my PC as I don't OC. If I need more juice I just buy a new machine![]()
Sales people know sweet noting about anything they are selling.
Told my friend to ask the "technical guy" at matrix warehouse to give him the network cable with the lowest AWG. The guy then asked if the cable will be used outside, my friend then said no and was told you dont need that type of cable?
