Strange wow problem

Hi guys I really hope you can help me.

I get some really weird latency problems with wow since v4. When I log onto wow Im greated by 4000ms latency. Then If I go to a place with lots of npc's or other players, like dalaran I get 19000ms latency. But here is the strange thing, it only happens some of the time. Most of the time the connection is fine and I can play without a problem but when I hs to dalaran it shoots up to 6000ms latency and more.

Know here is what I did to try and fix it.

Delete cache, interface and WTF folders. = didnt work
Run Repair = didnt work
Checked my ports in router = didnt work

Im using iBurst for my internet connection(getting adsl soon) but my friends thats using ADSL with Openweb is getting the same problem as me. That is also strange. I really dont know what else I can do to fix here so Im asking you guys for some help.

Here is my pc specs

Asus p5E mobo
Intel e8400 3.5ghz
Corsair 4x 1gb modules 1066mhz
Nvidia 275GTX
 
get the latest add's - if you cant find an upgrade disable the pre 4.0 once. As a test start with out all you adds and see if the that improves the speed :)

following this i got back down to 300 to 600 ms from 2000+
 
my vsync is ON. Not running any addons just standard wow ui and having the same problems. Im trying that leatrix latency fix now

just some questions about Leatrix Latency Fix

Is is safe to use?
Would it degrade web browsing?
Whats the downside of using it?
How many of you is using it?
 
Fixes naggle and optimises packet transport by disabling packet acknowledgement works fair on Vista as well as XP. May slightly affect browsing but by an un-noticable amount at most.

Try Lowerping?
 
afaik leatrix and tunnel services dont work well together. i was having massive lag issues with both (Im using battleping) disabled leatrix, and goodbye lag
 
Hi guys, Ive done a tracert. Seen that there stands Washington, does this mean Im router through America before I connect to Europe? I tracert my wows server IP.

I just read the Washington part... must be the FBI screening WoW players chat logs... what with the gold farmers and all :)
 
nah, dont you know, 43.8757675545% of wow players are actually terrorists. and gold-selling is their way of funding alqada :D
