Strangest keyboard problem ever...

stinger is stand alone and picks up the more potent viruses and destroyes them

I did exactly that, it deleted 6 infected files, but its still the same.

That STINGER, is it also like a anti virus? If I download it, will it pick up something? Or what else can I do to pick up the virus?

have you tried unplugging everything from the pc except the keyboard and mouse?
does it do the same in safe mode?

Well yeah, not feeling like it though. Still busy downloading stinger, if that fails too, that will be the next option.

Well there isn't anything else plugged in, just the keyboard, mouse and screen. Thats the lot.

It's the same in safe mode, still not working.

Can you believe this, The culprit was Filterkeys! I saw it on another forum while searching the net for an answer. So, no virus, or faulty hardware. The worst is, it took me the whole freaking morning to get it right!

Can you believe this, The culprit was Filterkeys! I saw it on another forum while searching the net for an answer. So, no virus, or faulty hardware. The worst is, it took me the whole freaking morning to get it right!

What the heck is FilterKeys???

Edit: ahahaha... I always turn off that feature as one of the firs things I do when I install windows. AutoPatcher has an option to disable it.

My in laws have a little one, who plays games all the time. She's not all that awake, and I think she pressed the num lock key continuously, and that activated filterkeys. Dunno what the hell it is for anyway.
