Stream DSTV Now on Xbox One using a browser

Is it possible to stream DSTV Now on Xbox One using a browser? I wasn't able to get it to work - all I get is a black box where the video should start streaming. Works perfectly on my laptop, so it's not a network problem. Is this a known issue? I've done a lot of googling and can't find a solution.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Does the xbox 360 have a dstv now app or support?

Curious if I should dig mine out the cupboard.
 
Oh, I see, so regardless of the browser used (whether I was to install a third party), it wouldn't work?
What would you recommend as the best option to stream DSTV Now on TV? Because currently, I'm streaming on my laptop and plugging this in with an HDMI which is painful.
 
Wait until MC officially says it is working! There are issues with the various apps and now MC is starting to say end April first week in May.

BTW, the there is a major update to WIN 10 this week which includes an update to Xbox as well.

Have you tried changing the "Mobile" setting on Edge/IE on the Xbox? This fixed streaming sites for me where they didn't work before (can't remember if I had to turn it off or on, but try both).
 
Okay, just tested now. The Catch Up works fine, but Live TV won't show for some reason. Must be a player issue on DSTV's side, or maybe some kind of licensing issue?

Still no formal announcement from MC.

Instead we see a new sw update on the flagship Explora decoders giving all sorts of problems.
 
Just tried edge on XB1 with the mobile setting OFF and still getting a black screen. If the mobile setting is ON, it asks you to download the app..

Anyone else get this right somehow?
 
Still getting a black screen, using EDGE on the XB1.. anyone else find a way to watch DSTV NOW live TV on XB1 yet..?
