The SABC should stream their crap channels even if it is crap or risk loosing more revenue.
Tell people to pay a TV Licence for streaming and input it when they login. These things are not rocket science but some are so blind they can't see the BUS right in front of them on it's way to hit them head on.

I can see the youtube preroll ad now "Pay your internet license it's the right thing to do"

 and they will probably do it too, with this FPB legislation they're trying to push through.

Every TV Broadcaster in the UK offers a streaming service. Im sure the same can be said for other countries.

Streaming is only a threat to broadcasters who still operate in the 20th century broadcasting mindset.

Lol the sooner this Region block nonsense on the internet stops the sooner companies will make a load of money. How they see money as a bad thing boggles my mind.

Oh they want to make money, that's for sure. However, dealing with international copyright law and ratings boards looks to be more trouble than it's worth?

Broadcasters are a thread to themselves. They could've seen this coming years ago and evolve/adapt. Stubborn like an "ou toppie" who won't except new tech.

Band together and PAY THEM off! It always works, once off and you change the game forever.

Broadcasting, going forward is only good for live events

However, to-date, most of the damage to the industry is self-imposed (be it state incompetence or price gouging)
