Stress Testing

Hi Guys,

I need to place a load onto 1 of our test servers so that I can test certain situations in 1 of my programs. Do you guys know of any software or any other means how I can get the machine to almost max out without stuffing up the machine?

no, unless there's no ventilation around the cpu

if it is a intel machine, try their stress testing tool. it can stess all the CPU cores (up to 16 i think)

it will stress test your ram and hard drives too.
