Stroopwafel ~ Syrup Waffle

Had the real ones in amsterdam, I hate them like a 5 year old child, just munched. It is an awesome taste, but diabetics in a bottle. I do not know that brand though.
 
Absolutely love stroopwafels. Just get the standard Albert Heijn brand if you want cheap really nice ones. Not sure where to get them in SA but they €0.60 for a pack in the Netherlands.
 
You can get them at some Pick n Pay's (run by Dutch owners), the boeremark in Pretoria and the Windmill place in Edenvale. That is the places I know of.

Spekelaas is also great, dipped in good quality coffee.
 
Yea love them too, but you have to eat them with coffee, as in place them over your cup and let it warm and get the syrup flowing a bit. Eating them straight out of the packet is meh and not really the true experience.

Love them, although my mom is Dutch so makes sense. We have an iron and occasionally make at home.
