Students and lecturers

it is only when you stand up and do the lecturing that you get a sense of what a tough job it is - energy drain of note. i do try to remember how i felt as a student but that can be summed up as "disinterested" or "high" and is not much help right now ...

the fun ones stand out

My lecturer for Law of Delict made up such wild and hilarious examples that he had to leave the class because he could not contain his own laughter. We were rolling in the isles, it was a riot.

first year maths lecturer:
as a mathematician i do not believe in God. This is my version of the bible.
In the beginning was the point....and Euclid saw that it was good etc etc

The only lecturer who was more awesome them me was in first year. The rest, much like the mass, are just icons of idiocy.

I shudder to think just how dim some people must have been to be in awe of their lecturers.
