Students burn school in religious protest

Perhaps best to leave the word tolerance out of this one.

If you enroll and subscribe to a Muslim school what do you expect? In any school there will be intolerance at breaking the rules of the school. These idiots knew what the rules were. They could have just left but alas they did things the typical African way.

What if its the closest school to you ? Should you be forced to go somewhere far because of their religion.

Take all the things you have said so far and replace the word Muslim with the word white.

Why you want to make this a racist issue now? How stupid can that be?

Meh it is an Islamic school. It is private. You agreed abide by it's rules when you enrolled. Live by the rules of the school.

Banning bibles is a little stupid though.

Agreed. I'd only ever see an issue if it were a public school.

Public schools are not supposed to be providing any religious instruction/worship whatsoever - unless they do so for all religions.

no specific worship but activities like daily prayer, the songs the sing etc, like I said I dont mind anyway figure best to be exposed to the world around us then be cocooned to one world view - back on topic. know I never heard off this particular school till today, but with name like as-salaam you would figure its a Muslim based place - now if its private (or semi private if such thing exists)then I dont see the point of the uproar we wouldn't see the same story at a catholic school, but if its public now then we have a bit of problem how come it was allowed to dictates such strict religious rules on those that dont follow.

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men." - Churchill

In all honesty, I am not surprised that children are being brainwashed. How can you show tolerance to this type of school.

Student enrolment is funded with taxpayer money, that makes it an issue for me.
