Stupid iphone not working properly ,

Ok.. so i tried to make a call, other person couldn't hear me, i couldn't hear them.
Went onto speaker phone mode and it all worked fine.
Put in headset and it all worked fine.
Back on normal mode and its not working again?

Seems like a silly bug where it thinks theres a headset or something
 
It's probably trying to control you. Like all apple facist bull****.
 
Have u taken off the protective screen cover that it came with?

Asking because a friend had the same problem and the it was caused by the cover..
 
lol, ya i have taken it off.. it was working.. its the 4.1(8B117)

LOL, i made this same mistake when I got my first gen iPhone. Because this thing is not allowed to get a SINGLE scratch on it! haha took me a day or 2 to figure it out. :D

On another note, why are all the iPhone haters in this forum? It's like they sit sit around waiting for someone to have a complaint so they can nail him for having an iPhone. Don't you guys have a Nokia 3310 thread to go join? You might just feel right at home!
 
well if it doesnt come right, its only 3 days old so it'll go straight back!

Because, come on, it's funny. :D I appreciate the tip about the Nokia, but I already have a phone that works and can do stuff, thanks. :p

Well, I could suggest that you not fall for a bunch of hype and buy a proper phone next time, but that probably wouldn't be appreciated. Then, I could also provide the odd humorous and facetious interjection as I did earlier. But mostly I answered a question posed by one of your fellow fruit admirers here.

You should know by now that dealing with the odd person who thinks you're an absolute tonsil for actually falling for the smoke and mirrors of Steve Jobs and Co. is just part of that indelible iPhone magic.

For what it's worth I do hope you get your phone sorted... having it do even less of what a modern phone should be able to must be very frustrating. :)
 
Wow, I have never seen so many trolls in one place at one time :D

I suggest you do a restore on iTunes, back to like it was when it was new. I am convinced some setting has been changed or something else trivial. If a complete restore doesn't help, then take it back to the store.
 
mmm hmmm.....well.. when u give me that modern phone that can run my apps.. i'll change.

back to topic.. looks like a "software" fault.. however , i cannot get it to come right
 
probably that stupid "carrier settings upgrade" that came through from vodacom!!!
