Hey guys,

So the importers of SVS don't supply the gloss ( piano ) black enclosure and Sound & Imagine where i purchased from didn't tell me this way in advance when i could have ordered them from importer. Now the wait is 12-16 weeks which is not possible.

So my only option is to possibly wrap them with gloss black vinyl.

Anyone know the pro's in wrapping that can do this for me ?

Wrapping it in gloss vinyl will preserve its resale value if you decide to sell it down the line instead of repainting unless you get a professional painter to respray.

A place that does car wraps should be able to assist as this will be a straight forward job for them.

I wrapped a pair of bookshelf speakers in a light oak vinyl to make the rest of my speakers in the HT room. The speaker distributor could not give me any ETA when the matching speakers will be available in SA. These are mounted high up on the wall as rear surrounds so they match the rest of the speakers unless you give them a close look.

Get the original gloss black than trying a diy.
Whats the cost of the speakers?

Can it not be painted or dipped? will last better than wrap.
Problem with that is it will void any warranty if something must go wrong.
