Submission on Electronic Communications Amendment Bill

I am faced with the same question particularly because the crux of my submission would be that they need to sit down and decide what they are doing about integrated ICT policy. It seems the indaba about the Indaba has subsumed all focus from the department. I enquired from the DoC whether a time frame for further announcements on the ICT policy review was in the pipeline because it seems deeply problematic to comment in particular ways if an announcement is expected.

a worthwhile submission in itself and a point that a lot of people are making. fine to fix up technical implementation issues but really should not be introducing new policy in an amendment bill when in the midst of a comprehensive policy overhaul.....last relates in the main to the spectrum management agency and the limitation of infrastructure rights (+ the reform of USAASA)
