Well, at least Vodacom and CellC was honest enough to reply 'Sometimes' and 'No Comments' when asked about sharing subscriber data for marketing purposes. Now these users know why they receive spam.

But, the other straight up lying companies will never admit this, but they are the largest traders in personal identifiable information of their clients. Damn, MTNs whole client database is making the rounds in private hands, even I have a copy...
