blizzard never has and never will listen to suggestions. they have proven this over and over again. they took a great game and f@cked it up with 2 really bad expansions and lost alot of subscribers. I was one of them. you would think they would learn their lesson after the first expansion, guess not .....

ty for the support guys, those kids on there nealry made me swear someone. I realised it will not help my case to go all bonkers so I'll check up on it only to see if I get a blue response ... as if that will ever happen.....

Won't not installing wotlk and TBC have the exact same effect? You get level capped if you haven't bought the expansions afaik.

i never said they dont have alot of subscribers. i said alot of the old ones left. there is a difference between the old community and the bunch of 9 year old new ones, not to mention all the chinese farmers plagueing the game. The game is but a shell of what it used to be, if you played from beta version you would know what i am talking about. And i dont believe for a second they have 11.5 million active subscribers, i bet most are inactive accounts, it is a known fact that players often return to check out new expansions, that 11.5million will drop down alot when the players subs end in 30days. my brother still plays and iv'e seen how deserted alot of the cities are compared to how they looked when i used to play, hell you could barely see your own character in a city because it was so crowded.

all i know is i wont be playing that dumbass game again.

I think because you upgrade your actual account you might still get xp even though you can't get to the new content. Im guessing here though.
 
Indeed. Since its an alt of his he already has the expansions.

wow some other people are coming around that wow has been turned into a product that suits the coke-pop-facebook-mixit culture.

I've been playing it over again; this time horde, but geez the level are so fast now its not even funny, most things that was an actual accomplishment or a good complexity has been abolished so that the casual dumbass don't feel out.

what has happened to SWG is and has happened to wow; over simplification of that which should not be- that which made the game, that which was there to add that something little extra for more mature players.

yes we are a dying race; all games tend nowadays not to cater for us, but rather- how can we make money fast and appease the "casuals"

Thats what they said about Warhammer Online...and that just failed.

WoW will be now and for a long long time, the ultimate MMORPG.

True, things have been made easier for the casual player, but its still not a walk in the park...

I'm looking forward to SG:Worlds ...but even more so to Star wars: The old republic!

I _LOVED_ the KOTOR world that was 4000yrs pre-galactic empire era.

Working up skills etc. and only getting a light saber at "lvl 70" as opposed to every n00b getting one? Yes please!

If they could incorporate the same fighting rhythm / style used in Jedi Knight: jedi Academy, it would be THE coolest game evar!

I've read that book and its just the same old reruns.

Eve, Lotr, AD&D, AOC, Warhammer, Star Trek etc etc. Lets not go down that route.
