We're a few friends looking to spend the long weekend of the 27th of April somewhere away from home.

Anybody have any ideas for a place with self catering chalets (with braai areas) to accommodate about 12 adults and 5 kids? Doesn't have to be one chalet though (doubt you'd find one that big), two or three would do as long as its in the same resort or whatever its called.

Oh and I'd prefer it to be not more than 300k's from Cape Town.

Thanks!

Thanks, eish. That will work out quite pricey I see.

edit, its not self catering, which probably accounts for the price

people who work in belville

/sigh

im sure if you decide on an area theres places that you will find

i actually dont like places around cpt cause compare them to suncity or badplass or warmbads around jhb our ones this side dont compare

Set in a tranquil and peaceful environment with sweeping views of the Babilonstoren Mountains as well as the fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom, this self-catering accommodation offers the perfect breakaway for family and friends of all ages.

;)

If you haven't been to Arniston then go there! Look for the Arniston Seaside cottages, but the ones in harbour road. I was there a couple of weeks back and I swear I will retire there one day. I did not see 1 homeless person, not even 1 police van! The place is clean, nice and quite, beautifull and the beach is awesome! There is not even a shop in Arniston, you have to buy everything in Bredasdorp before you reach Arniston but its truly amazing! Seeing random people greeting each other as they walk by is awesome!

Just not over the Easter weekend - unless you enjoy getting away from it all to where everyone with the same wish has gone.

yeah asking for trouble. Don't even want to be on the road that time of year

We been invited for a weekend at the Stilbaai River Lodge at the end of March. Have never been there so look forward to it.
