Hi all,

So tried a few free website builder(online) but as assumed i need to use their own domain ( $$ per month)

I already have a custom one registered by Axxess and want to build my own(with no coding needed) drag and drop website and register it under my domain name.Any suggestions which site or software offer this?

The small "powered by" at the top or bottom doesn't bother me.i have a small start up business and don't want to pay for a website atm.

Thanks all

Thought WordPress is a code based program

It can be if you want to change some code, or add in a few fancy features but not required to get you off the ground.
There are tons of addons that you can use that require virtually no coding. Loads of free templates as well and very easy to setup with a large support community.

What's the business about?

AXXESS Linux hosting with free domain for R29pm

Then use any of the web designers in the https://www.softaculous.com/ menu on your CPanel.

Should take you an hour and you can charge someone R20 000 to do it for them

Ive got that, but i don't know where to start with the programs. Some are just folder you download. Then again i can't even access my domain.co.za/admin cause afrihost still has a grace period on it :/

You "develop" on the live site.
There is no programing, only configuration.
You install it on the server using CPanel.
Don't even try to do it locally and deploy as it will take you so much longer to setup everything for a hosted environment and you are bound to run into permission and other issues on the day you decide to release

Look for Wordpress tutorials on Youtube if you really hate reading.

All those website builders are not aimed at developers, or people that can CSS.

If you want a quick and easy website for your coffee shop or pet spa or just general presence, GoCental/Wix etc... is for you. Quick simple drag and drop and you don't have to worry about backups, maintenance, updates hackers etc... If something goes wrong, it's somebody else's problem to fix it but it comes at a cost

If you want something that you have some control over but it still relatively easy, self hosted Wordpress but then you have to worry about all that other stuff.

It's all about use case and how much time you want to spend.
