If you are set on nokia and you got the the patience and money to get an Iphone 4s rather just wait for the new Nokia lumia 800, it looks quite beautiful and is a big step up from win7
The Iphone 4s is going for about the same price if you import it {I think}, there was a thread about it awhile back. I expect the nokia and iphone will get much cheaper ecspecialy the nokia as microsoft reeeeaaaalllllyyyy needs to get some market share and the hardware is pretty sub-par compared to some of the dual core androids out today.
The E6 is the best of that lot I think. Got the E5 for my dad and he's very happy with it.
I wouldn't get a touch Nokia until the WP7 and Symbian Belle units start arriving in the local market.
And as much as I love the N9 I wouldn't get that either. It's just too dead end.
8.ta is offering the N9 (haven't checked if the other service providers are offering it), but not sure the N9 will get a lot of love and attention in a year's time.
That said, expect some showstoppers from Nokia next year when Apollo (Windows Phone 7 dual-core support) is rolled out.
November and December is not the best time for a new phone, that's why I got my Samsung Galaxy S2 in October.
ended up with the nokia X3-00 touch screen.
not quite the iPhone touch screen phenomena....
So far so good... still have loads to learn.
It is a small, compact phone with great battery life!
If the touch screen was a tad more effective, it would have had the WOAAAH factor..........
