Metrofibre is rolling out fibre in my area and I need suggestions for a reliable ISP's with no FUP. Considering the 100mb line speed.
Any suggestions and experiences with your current ISP's are welcome, negative or positive.

Thank you.

Hi,

We offer fast reliable uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled service on MetroFibre.

Sorry to say this but Metro sucks, they are as bad as Vuma. And I'm speaking from an ISP point of standard.

But to answer your question @websquadza
Thanks for the mention @HartsockZA, always appreciated!

MFN have jacked up their game considerably lately, definitely a pleasure to work with as a FNO from an ISP perspective.

@kjgertse check out our MFN Uncapped, Unshaped and Unthrottled offerings below:

We've extended our double up promo - which gives you a free upgrade for 6 months on select MFN packages

Mwtrofibre installed in our new complex. None of the listed ISPs have any idea that the complex exist or that there is Metrofiber there. I wasn’t keen on using Metrofibre as my ISP. Any suggestions?

No Pretoria North. The complex has metrofibre but we have an option of choosing any of their ISP. Problem is that the other ISPs don’t have the complex on their map(not updated).

The issue is not generally, the ISP, but the MFN backhaul that terminates in in Teraco. So there's not really such a thing as the "best" ISP on MFN. If the backhaul is affected, it generally affects all the ISP's. The better ISP's pickup the condition earlier, and escalate it to MFN quicker. But in the end, the repair still takes the same time, regardless of ISP.

Weird considering WebSquad, a few months ago when I asked, and a local ISP in my area have said that MFN are one of the better networks.

If it's live on the MFN map (https://ftthorder.metrofibre.co.za/) you can place the order there and choose your ISP and the order will go to the ISP via their system.
