Suits

Do you have different suits for business, daytime leisure, and evening leisure?

It's a rule that's applicable to both sexes, women wearing shiny evening clothes during the day are considered to be "on duty".

But then maybe I'm old school.

On duty like prostitution?

Women actually have it set up more sensibly here. There are clear lines between their formal business wear and evening wear. No-one is wearing a ballgown to the office or a ladies power-suit to a wedding.

I've got about 12 suits that I wear regularly. All pretty dark colours (black, charcoal, midnight blue, navy), some plain others with various themes of pinstripe.

Then I've also got two formal jackets (with elbow patches and everything) for less formal occasions.

And about 25 bespoke shirts (french cuff, no pockets) mostly because I hate ironing shirts when my maid is on leave over December.

Used to have to wear a suit 5 days a week (but you could drop the tie on "casual Fridays"). Now not so much.
What do or did you do for a living?
