Fabregas came out of Barca's youth team and Walcott is from the Southampton one.
So no, not at arsenal.

No ,they only got 'noticed' at Arsenal. before Arsenal they were nobodies.

Are you that stupid?I dont want it any other way, I'm happy having your stupid post as my sig the way it is.

What you smoking??
For people that actually follow football they were not "nobodies", Wallcot was linked to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs before moving to Arsenal and was seen as one of the best young footballers in the UK.

yeah Walcott was... but cesc never had much of a chance at barca... the next name to watch out for is fran merida :)

Cesc played in the under 17 spanish world cup and got noticed in that.He chose arsenal over barca as he knew he wont get much game time.
yep merida is another production of the barca youth system.

Now that frank rijkaard is out of barcelona, any ideas where you think he will be headed?

Is it official? Pitty... Rijkaard is an awesome manager, such a good attitude..

Ya all the injuries of their top players has not helped matters this season, there is now a big cleanup for next season as we have now seen the effects with rijkaard.

I spend a lot of time in spain and people in Barcelona had enough of rikkard/Ronaldinho a long time ago so its no surprise they are the first to go.

There are some awesome youngsters coming out of Chelsea academy, Scott Sinclair, Michael Woods etc. They both have had a taste of 1st team football, and I expect Sinclair to train with the 1st team in the summer and feature a lot more next year. Very much another Theo Walcott, fast, good skill on the ball, just a bit young minded still.

i dont know why riikjaard is getting the blame

ronaldino has been out most of the season
deco has been injured
eto has been injured
messi has been injured

i mean imagine united losing rooney and ronaldo to injury for most of the season

nobody would blame ferguson

And I thought the Brits were thew worst. I do like Riijkaard, he is a good coach, and I'm sure there are many clubs that will take him, he has a nice attacking style of play.

Arsenal perhaps, finally getting rid of AW who cant win nothing?

*awaits flames with extinguisher*

HLEB TO LEAVE ARSENAL

Alex Hleb's agent has finally gone public with his client's wish to leave Arsenal this summer.

The Belarusian, a close friend of the AC Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini, has repeatedly been linked with a move to Inter Milan amid claims that he has been offered a double-your-pay offer by the Italian club. Famously, after reports he had left Arsenal's hotel to meet with Inter representatives before their Champions League tie in Milan, his absence was explained as a search for an ice cream.

Now his agent, Nikolai Shpilevski, has admitted: "Alexander is preparing to make the most important moves of his life.

"He is leaving Arsenal even though they want to offer him a new long-term contract and better conditions. Only time will tell if leaving is the right decision, but there's no way back now. Everything will be cleared up in the next two weeks."

Hleb joined Arsenal from German club Stuttgart in the summer of 2005 and has so far made 89 league appearances, scoring seven goals.

Are Arsenal in danger of becoming a feeder club?

told ya it was sinking ship

not sure what happened this season, they patched some holes but they just hit the floor bed :) no repairing this time

A semi-final in the champs league isnt good enough, they demand trophies in La Liga.

but look at the westham manager who is coming under fire for poor results

he has 9 first team players injured and has done well not to get into a relegation battle but the fans are blaming him for a poor season and not the fact that majority of their first team is injured

now barcelona are in a very similar situation but its just not as severe

Big difference between a team like West Ham (who if they get into the top half of the table that's an excellent result) and a team like Barca (who if they don't win champs league or at least the league its an extremely poor year)

With a history like barca's anything but the best is not good enough, the last straw was the 4-1 loss against real madrid, if you lived in the country you will know that the 4-1 loss is worse than losing the champs or league.

Fans haven't been happy with rijkaard since last season already so its no surprise that he is on his way out.

Remember also barca's fans hold a share in the club, so their say means a lot unlike other teams where fans opinion doesn't mean anything.Liverpool wanted to adopt this but unfortunately it fell through.
