That sentence sums it up. We believe that players, play for our team cos they want to play. Every season we get record offerings from different clubs for players, they turn them down. Cos with some players, its not about the money! Its for the love of the club and the fans.

It was reported that Real will offer 100 million. If negotiations go thru, i am 100000% sure that they wont buy him for that much. If a player wants to go, sometimes theres very little a club can do to stop him. Thats why HE is giving his answer and not United

Ok, let me give you a quik lesson.
Deco was told to look for another club a few months ago. He didnt want to leave.
Eto might stay, he wants to. he apologised to the media after he said he will leave if they dont win. If Barca decide to sell him, it will be strategic.
Ronaldinho has had 2 poor seasons, a decision was made 6 months ago to offload him.
Toure does not want to leave, he might be sold for a strategic move.

All of the above reasons is why i dont like entertaining people who dont know football. Any football fan will know that the above reasons are true. Yet, you read a paper and you assume, Deco wants to leave, Ronnie wants to leave. *yawn*
Messi will stay with Barcelona, the club MADE him. Same like iniesta, Xavi, Oleguer, Puyol - Bojan - when the club decides to sell them - they will move on.

Shows how loyal he is. Move to greater things when the opportunity comes. He would have moved to Real Madrid if United lost the CL as well. If he doesnt move now, he will in the near future, thats if Madrid wants him.

You are correct he moved to Madrid. I remember when Barca played Madrid - a fan hid a PIGS head in a bag, and managed to smuggle it into the stadium. He later proceeded to throw Figo with it.
That is the anger they showed for him, they hate him and he is not welcome in Barcelona. When Madrid played Barcelona, they benched him at the Nou Camp.
Cos the fans revolted. Now that is a player who chose to leave our club. That is the way it was handled. Fans exploded like this cos it doenst happen often.
