Sunfoil series 2015/2016

What on earth is wrong with Thenuis De Bruyn this season? Good to see the top run scorers in the Sunfoil 3 day competition all turning out for the franchises this week. Heinrich Klaasen is one to watch.

Besides the 100 last week and the 1 t20 100 he is having a bit of a shocker.

The fact that he plays in such a strong side is guarding him against serious critique. Keeps getting bailed out by the strong titans lower order.

Yeah no doubt. Just surprised is all. Thought it was 90 overs per day. Didn't realise they could go over that (even with light and time permitting).
It's normally a minimum of xx overs per day. Depending on the situation the fielding captain will speed up or slow down the over rate...

I seem to recall 4 day matches having a daily minimum of 104 overs back in the day?

Okaaaaay, so 96 overs it is then!

I just remember being a batsman at the end of a day and all you're doing is trying to survive. Every additional over was a nightmare! You look at the ump and ask him, "How many overs left?" He'd look at his watch and say, "25 minutes"

And Viljoen goes back to FC game and takes 6. What he would have give to do that last week. ☺

Quite a step up to International Level. Perhaps the thing was somewhat overwhelming? Whatever happens, the experience will have done him the world of good.

I see ramela finally got runs this season. Zondo and de bruyn still not doing much.

Halfway point in the competition and now the one month break :(

Looking forward to a full strength Lions batting line up for the next round with Cook and Bavuma returning to join an in form Alviro. Unless if he has broadcasting commitments for the SABC for the WorldT20 obviously
