Most battery datasheets list recommended and max. Recommended is probably the 150A. Max will be the 300 or 1C. If you didnt know @wingnut771 he loves max ROI. Draining batteries to zero, discharging and charging at max current and of course, filling the ceiling with geysers.

It was for an hour or so and didn’t complain until I upped the settings to 275A max on inverter which tripped internal 200A breaker (there are 2 inside inverter) but not bridged for some reason so even though this setup can use 400A (16kW divide 40V), the installer only wired to one breaker.

Shat my pants a bit before investigating.
