Hi everyone,
I recently went through the nightmare of trying to remove a CallerTune (that horrible music people hear when they call you) on MTN’s new SupaFlex plan that they seem to automatically subscribe you to without prompt. None of the usual USSD STRING codes worked — but I found the solution and thought I’d share it to help others!
I hope this helps someone else out there!

Cancel MTN CallerTunes/ Caller Status on SupaFlex Plan:
- Dial: *123*10#
- Scroll down to Option 14: “Manage Subscriptions”
- Select Option 1 (might just show as # or arb word or blank – go with it)
- A list of your active subscriptions will appear (your 1. CallerTune --may show up with a weird song name)
- Choose the subscription (likely Option 1 again & also a weird song name)
- Select: 1. Cancel
You’re free! No more music, just a normal ring.
Why the usual MTN codes don’t work on SupaFlex:
- *132#, *135#, and even 135 (call) don’t help — they only show plan info or send you in circles.
- You MUST go through *123*10# to manage subscriptions.
I hope this helps someone else out there!
