Touch Develop looks kinda interesting. Can't say if its similar to Tasker though as I've only played around with it a litte bit.
Tasker or Llama (free) is all about automation of tasks based on a number of variables i.e your location, a time of day, battery status etc. Once the prerequisites/conditions are met it executes the task.
E.g. When I get to work: set audio profile to x, turn on wifi, and make me a cup of coffee...

Speaking of Tasker, I have been playing around with Auto voice, and I have to say I am seriously impressed. It will be a long time before I leave Android.
