Lions did what the Sharks should have done ... shook off being sucked into playing the Rebels game and scored hella nice tries.

High scoring games in this round. In 7 out of 8 games the winning team scored at least 40 points.

Did not watch the game. But the score ended up being much closer than I thought it would be.

The Sunwolves lost the match due to two reasons,

1) Their inability to be structured against a rolling maul and
2) Poor kicking in general.

The Jaguares, however, had a poor game, but is mainly due to them being under pressure. The Sunwolves are yet to break the 70min mark, at least they are continuingly improving.

Yster-haker Marx kies die Bokke bo ponde, euro’s
http://www.netwerk24.com/Sport/Rugby/yster-haker-marx-kies-die-bokke-bo-ponde-euros-20170506

I had a look at the rounds analysis, seeing the Sunwolves on an upcurve they may be able to scrape 3 victories, and to take notice the hurdles the Bulls and Cheetahs are about to challenge, the Sunwolves may top them both or at least come in at 3rd. Pressure time… to prevent this, the Sharks, the Cheetahs and the Stormers will need to win the Sunwolves convincedly, and not give the losing bonus point away. I doubt that the Lions and the Blues will lose to the Sunwolves, but the Moondogs are about to, on their bye, to replenish their depth which they didn’t have earlier on into the competition, all which had been under Jamie Joseph’s supervision training along with the u/20 and national team.

They played better without Taulagi, and they had more than depth to cover Carpenter’s absence. Tupou and Lafaele are their best centre pair, and Matsushima easily substituted Taulagi.
