Super Rugby 2018

DDA with that usual bestest defense :crylaugh: Stormers got such good defense until it gets to him.

Like any inexperienced flyhalf he kicks useable ball away, if it becomes a habit… Jantjies only succumbs to this under pressure.

That's a part of his game he needs to focus on and comes with experience. Under the right guidance those bad habits can be managed successfully

In Super Rugby he still makes the scoreboard tick.

Yes, but we test players on Test level how good they are. No issues with him on Super Rugby level as I think that's he's limit. Would have liked him to step up to test level though.

I believe Robert du Preez and Curwin Bosch to be our next pivots. Willemse will be there eventually, need a game or two with Springbok A. Jantjies will still be there for ‘continuity’ and we still have Pollard and Lambie.

Wonder if the Jags should have changed to a more close and slow bash it up game. Seems every time they go that route they make way more inroads than the quick expansive one which the Stormers are into.

They talked about just that before the game, maybe this switch up is part of their game plan.

ah, unfortunately missed the build up. They probably should have switched ages ago, heh.

Strategy is an art, the Stormers are strong defensively as a structured unit, the Jaguares made them comfortable for 60min playing unstructured rugby. You can see how the switcheroo turned the momentum.

World Rugby needs to do more to communicate law changes to non-english teams.

Poor game from the Stormers, hopefully they will get better as the season progress.
Wonder if they will. Now they hit the road again. And we all know how they struggled while traveling last season.

I have written off Pollard and Lambie, Curwin also inconsistent and have not stepped up. Robert du Perez best option atm and can handle the pressure.

Said lad already staking his claim. Sharks benefiting from his presence.
