SuperSonic - Anyone affected by backdated massive bills?

I thought this was a continuation of the billing of people who already cancelled story.

Yes supersonic messed up. But dont expect us to believe you never checked your statements at least once in a year?

Just pay them.
I have paid them and they gave me a discount as an apology.

Do you think that is what was bothering me? It's the messages to that poor person who started the thread that disturbed me, and the general assumption that everyone approaches their finances in the same manner. Also, despite your averment, I didn't check my statements. I haven't in years and I don't plan to monitor them in detail going forward either. Maybe that makes me an idiot, but I'm a successful idiot.

There is a degree of reliance you need to have on your service providers and employees to become successful and if Supersonic was an employee, they would legitimately be out of a job regardless of whether I checked my statements or not. Unfortunately, as a service provider I cant leave them as they are the only fibre provider on my street.

That said, good luck with your future assumptions and averments I'm sure you'll make a success of it! Thanks.

Of course it's not the customer's fault, but responsibility does lie on both sides.

And regardless of how much you are spending on debit orders it's pretty poor bookkeeping/budgeting on a customer's part if a R1099 payment is missed month after month while still receiving the related services.

And yes if something as simple and cheap as my Netflix subscription didn't get billed for a month I would notice immediately.

Does that mean Supersonic is faultless? Absolutely not.
I say this tongue in cheek and not to offend, but my budgeting is almost as bad a your work ethic.

The timing of your messages suggests you send them during your working day. If you average 56275 messages at around 5mins a message (I'm sure the average is actually much higher per message, as your responses are mostly well considered), that would equate to around 4689 hours and 586 full working days (@8hours a day). If you average 10mins per message (quite likely) we're looking at 1172 full working days.

Thanks for your feedback and keep up the good work.

We offer services on MTN fibre, a few ISPs do.

Firstly, you have no idea what my working hours are, but beyond that also no idea what my working conditions are...you definitely do not have to worry about my work ethic I can tell you that much.

Only people who have work environments like prisons would even come to conclusions like this to start with.

Beyond that the fact I type over 200 characters per minute without trying too hard blows your entire logic right out of the water. Some of us learned to type with more than just 2 fingers and take mere seconds on posts...which is why we have time for these things in the first place during our work day as we get **** done faster and more accurately than most everyone else.

There, this post took all of one minute to compile and send.

So all of 938 hours over 15+ years....or 10 minutes average per day if you want to get all up in your feelings.

Come here with broken logic and work ethnic nonsense...my lord.

My tongue and cheek caveat clearly did not work.

200 characters or words? That post was 171 words and 746 non blank characters (which would take a 200 character typist just under 4 minutes, not 1). I hardly doubt you are a 200 word typist, but possibly you work for the courts as a transcriber...? Your logic has blown me away too.

Gotta run, I need to get back to my prison and check my bank statements before the warden shows up.

P.S. I'm just joking around, sorry if its at your expense (or mine), but I'm sure you're not too bothered. This is clearly not your first rodeo.

All good.

It's not like I sat with a stopwatch, what I meant was I do 200 characters per minute at a minimum while distracted and not trying very hard sometimes even while in conversation with others.

Generally type much faster than that when I'm in the zone and rolling with it, because I believe it's a critical skill that everyone should learn.

But that was at the time I was typing that line, I ended up editing it and adding more afterwards so you are quite right in total.

My inner coloured has already said:

"Djy is vol kak!"

You just making like you the victim, there was unaminous agreement by most members, which is unheard of on these forums, that you are partly to blame. You are not blameless. If you read my original post, I said yes, Supersonic messed up, but so did you.

The fact that you are upset that I dont consider you blameless, does not mean you absolved of your actions or lack thereoff.

You just coming across as an entitled child who is throwing a tantrum, when in fact you simply got caught out for not paying for services you recieved, and now want to claim that you an innocent party.
