Supersonic lte will it work without it being on the coverage map?

So mtn removed my area for fixed lte coverage(was covered before), even know the speeds are really good in the area. Area does get 4g+.

I signed up on my moms address as I need backup internet. Telkom won't replace batteries at the exchange, the telkom tower batteries are also not lasting anymore.

Signed up with supersonic to get the router to use also, as sign up can be done via whatsapp. I can hardly make phone calls, because my phone is with telkom also.

Anybody using it without being in coverage area?

Seems to work fine, sim was active as soon as switched on the device.
