Supersport Commentator whizzing breathing

Man yesterday the first time I watched this WC on DSTV and i have to say what's with the commentator it sounded like every 2 minutes he was snorting a line of COKE or something...

Who is this commentator? Why was he not informed about his snorting habits?

I was part of the sound team at the Lions Show in Port Shepstone - having that sound come over a Line array system with 8x18" Bass Bins was not funny after ten minutes..lol

It was kinda funny at first because it did sound like he was snorting coke or something but soon became extremely irritating. I can't believe he wheezed like that throughout the game.

I switched to Zulu commentary after a while. Even though I don't speak it I could keep the HD picture and crowd noise without the wheezing. I was WAY worse 2 weeks ago though, so I think he was sick and has gotten a bit better.

Jon Champion - and his commentary when doing the EPL is awesome. His wheezing during the World cup was irritating though and he definitely should not have done the final. Still...

It was Hilarious (yes: CAPTITAL 'H') - we actually started a drinking game after a few minutes - whenever he did it the first name to be called out had to drink.

I pretended to be bad at it and got ratarsed.
